The species defined combine ornamental and protective functions, with a preference for deciduous species to minimize shading in winter. Color is an important component and gives character to specific spots. Among others, we can find the following shade trees:
• Large fire tree with ornamental and shelter functions;
• Lodon, deciduous tree with a rounded crown and ornamental function;
• Maple, large deciduous tree with a broad crown;
• Loureiro-de-Portugal, evergreen, 3 to 15 meters tall, with a visual boundary function;
• Salt cedar, small deciduous tree with plumes of pink flowers;
• Love tree, deciduous, with abundant crimson-pink flowers;
• Maritime pine;







As a reference to existing species and part of the ecosystem to be created, fruit-producing and ornamental species are proposed, reinforcing the color and aroma components of the project.

• Strawberry tree • Sweet orange tree • Fig tree • Loquat tree • Pomegranate tree - Reed tree • Oat tree • Light pink mimosa grass • Blue fescue









Shrub or perennial species are proposed. These do not require replanting and are supported by common maintenance operations.
